BCEL1000: Defining BetterCloud Terms

Thanks for your interest in BetterCloud’s Customer Training and Enablement (CTE) content! This video and article are the very first in our ongoing series of CTE content. Before getting into the functions, capabilities, and logic of how BetterCloud helps you orchestrate actions across your SaaS apps, it’s important to define some fundamental terms that are either industry wide or used in a unique way by BetterCloud.

Video Overview

By the end of this video, you'll be able to...

  • Define industry terms such as Software as a Service Operations (SaaSOps), application programming interface (API), stock keeping unit (SKU), and Source of Truth (SoT). You’ll also be able to identify and define BetterCloud's usage of terms such as Integration, Instance, Dashboard, Alert(s), and Workflow(s). We’ll review not only their definitions, but also how they work and what role they play within BetterCloud’s interface.
