When integrating a new application with your BetterCloud instance, the overall installation process is consistent. However, each integration is different, and may require varying levels and types of authentication. This article provides instructions for configuring and collecting all the information you need in order to add the Pipedrive integration in BetterCloud.
BetterCloud requires you to enter the following information when integrating with Pipedrive:
- Both free and paid Pipedrive plans can integrate successfully with BetterCloud
- In order to generate a valid API key, the user generating the key must be a Pipedrive Admin user
To get started collecting your API key, locate the "Settings" menu from the account dropdown in the top right corner of the page.
Under your personal preferences, you will see a tab for "API".
Under the API tab, find your personal API token. Copy this token into the apiKey field in the integration's environment variables.
Once you have added your integration, you can update your API key at any time.
