When integrating a new application with your BetterCloud instance, the overall installation process is consistent. However, each integration is different, and may require varying levels and types of authentication. This article provides instructions for configuring and collecting all the information you need in order to add the Bugsnag integration in BetterCloud.

BetterCloud requires the following authentication information when integrating with Bugsnag:

  • API Token
  • organizationName

*Please note the following important information:

  • The organization you select when generating your API token (see below) will be the only organization you can take action on using your integration.
  • The connecting account must be a Bugsnag Organization Admin.
  • Domains on any Bugsnag subscription are able to add the integration to their environment.

API Token and Organization Name

When adding the Bugsnag integration you will be prompted to enter an API token. In order for this token to have the necessary permissions, the account that creates it must be a Bugsnag Organization Admin. To generate an API token, please take the following steps in Bugsnag:

Select "Settings" on the the top navigation bar.
