When integrating a new application with your BetterCloud instance, the overall installation process is consistent. However, each integration is different, and may require varying levels and types of authentication. This article provides instructions for configuring and collecting all the information you need in order to add the BlueJeans integration in BetterCloud.
BetterCloud requires the following authentication type when integrating with BlueJeans:
- Basic HTTP Authentication (Username and Password)
*Please note: The Create User action requires access to Enterprise Admin API endpoints, which are only available on the My Company plan. BlueJeans may be connected without access to this, but the Create User action will fail.
Username and Password
The username and password of your account in BlueJeans. The username is usually an email address. The authenticating account must be an Administrator in BlueJeans in order for the connection to succeed.
Once you have successfully added the integration, your username and password can be updated at any time from the integration’s configuration.
