When integrating a new application with your BetterCloud instance, the overall installation process is consistent. However, each integration is different, and may require varying levels and types of authentication. This article provides instructions for configuring and collecting all the information you need in order to add the Plainview LeanKit integration in BetterCloud.
BetterCloud requires the following authentication type when integrating with Plainview LeanKit:
- Basic HTTP Authentication (Username and Password)
You will also need to enter the following additional environment variable in order to successfully connect:
Username and Password
The username and password of your administrator account in LeanKit. This account must be an Account Owner or Account Administrator in LeanKit, otherwise authentication will fail.
This is the unique URL for your LeanKit instance. The easiest way to find it is by simply copying from the URL you use when accessing your account:
It will typically be in the format xxxx.leankit.com.
Once you have successfully added the integration, your username, password, and base URL can all be updated at any time from your integration’s configuration.
