[Zendesk] Workflows Error Message: Reset Password



If you received the following error message in response to your workflow, this article can help you troubleshoot possible causes: 

"Why it failed:

This action may have failed for one of the following reasons: Password Reset functionality is disabled in Zendesk settings (see Admin > Security > Global > "Allow admins to set password" must be enabled.)

Our suggestion:

Please check if: (1) Password reset functionality is enabled in Zendesk settings."

In this case, the action in your workflow may have failed because the requisite option is not enabled in your domain's Zendesk settings. For troubleshooting this item, please read on below. 

Password Reset Functionality Disabled in Zendesk

To confirm that "Allow admins to set password" is enabled for your domain, navigate to [your domain].zendesk.com > Admin > Security > Global, and make sure that the "Allow admins to set password" box is checked.
